I know I've mentioned my love for the mall. By love, I mean great disdain. Now that I've cleared that up, let it be known that I end up finding a lot of my clothes at small boutiques around the city. I went to an event in Dallas a few months ago called Flea Style. It was a great event supporting local vendors all across Dallas, giving them a chance to showcase their work. I have always loved little flea markets and at Flea Style I felt like a little kid in a candy store! I picked up quite a few trinkets but this blazer was by far my favorite! Actually sold by the Flea Style shop, I had been told that this blazer had been a favorite among the staff for weeks. I can definitely see why! I was immediately drawn to the pattern, the cropped cut and wide sleeves. It's perfect for a crisp fall day out. The colors stand out so much despite it being a more vintage piece. I paired it with some olive green moto pants and a pair of flats.
I also found these earrings for such a great deal sold by Sunshine Tienda. I had been wanting a pair of loop earrings, but naturally, I wanted a pair that had some flare. These caught my eye pretty quickly. A complete no brainer! I learned that most of their products are found overseas and are all unique pieces.
It was a really great feeling to support local artisans in Dallas, and the best part? Everything is one of a kind!
I linked some similar items below, but I hope you can take a minute to visit their sites to see their amazing work!
