It's finally December, and you know what that means! The holidays are right around the corner. What am I really taking about? Holiday parties! Since I work in a hospital aka not the corporate life, we don't have any fancy work affairs to attend, but I do love to celebrate this time of year with friends and family!
I was fortunate enough to collaborate with an up and coming online boutique, StyleWe. They are based overseas, and to be honest, I was a bit skeptical of delivery time, authenticity of the dress, and overall quality. First of all, let me say that their customer service was prompt and diligent! I never waited over 24 hours for a response! My arrival came within 7-10 days as promised. The dress came out of the package a bit wrinkled (to be expected), but was easily fixed by a quick steam. Each item on their site comes with VERY specific measurements which I appreciate. Having some curves, I can attest that my measurements are all over the place, and aren't anywhere near average for my height or weight. This dress fit absolutely perfectly with no issues whatsoever. The quality was promising and the color is way more vibrant than I expected it to be. I love the pleats and details on this dress, and most of all I love the way it swings and sways in the wind! I know, I know, the small things.
I wanted to wear the LRD with two different pairs of shoes to show you all how easy it is to wear out for a casual brunch but also to a fun holiday party! I chose my obvious favorite gold sneakers for the daytime look and then changed into some suede ankle booties for the dressier version. Both looks are fabulous, but honestly the dress didn't need much help in the first place. I layered some necklaces to break up the color of the dress, but overall I chose to accessorize lightly.
Anyways, I could go on and on about how amazing this dress from StyleWe is, but I'll just allow the pictures to speak for themselves!
I've linked the exact dress below and also added additional red dresses for your shopping pleasure. Happy Monday!
